Park Hyatt Tokyo
パーク ハイアット 東京
Globalists get one of Tokyo's best hotel breakfasts at Girandole by Alain Ducasse plus free use of the Club On The Park spa, but there is no club lounge, upgrades are usually one room category, and since the hotel was relabelled a resort in spring 2026 the 4 p.m. late checkout is no longer guaranteed.

Not included for Explorist
World of Hyatt includes daily breakfast only at Globalist level; no report shows an Explorist breakfast here.
Cash price reported at ¥7,150 per person in an April 2026 review.

Free at Girandole: main dish plus buffet
Every post-reopening Globalist or Guest of Honour report (Jan, Apr, Sept and Oct 2026) had breakfast at Girandole at no charge.
Format: a Western main dish ordered from the menu with the buffet of pastries, fruit and cold items alongside; one April 2026 Globalist could add extra à la carte items.
The Japanese set must be ordered the day before; a few are held back for walk-ins, and one Sept 2026 report saw staff give conflicting answers on whether buffet access comes with it.
Service hours 07:00–10:30 (April 2026 review).
A family of four on a Guest of Honour award (Jan 2026) had all four breakfasts covered, matching Hyatt's rule of two adults plus two children per room.

Club lounge access
Explorist · Mid-tier
No club lounge in the hotel
The Peak Lounge & Bar on 41F is a paid café, afternoon-tea venue and bar, not a members' lounge.
Hotel guests pay no cover charge at the New York Bar (Oct 2026 report); this applies to every guest, not only elites.
Globalist · Top-tier
No lounge; free spa access instead
There is no club lounge and no free evening drinks; a Jan 2026 guest who also stayed at Park Hyatt Kyoto noted that Tokyo has no champagne hour.
Globalists get free entry to the Club On The Park spa area (baths, saunas) on 45F, normally ¥5,500 per day; reported April and Oct 2026.
Swimwear and gym kit were provided free to a Globalist in Jan 2026.

One category up is typical; suites when quiet
Jan 2026: one Globalist moved from a standard room to a Deluxe King when nothing better was on sale; the same month a guest (status not stated) reported a Park Premier Suite upgrade.
April 2026 (cherry blossom season): a Globalist on a Guest of Honour award went from a Standard room to a 55 m² Deluxe; no suite because the hotel was close to full.
Suite Upgrade Awards work here: Park Deluxe Suite confirmed with an SUA in late Sept 2026 and a Deluxe Suite on an award stay in Sept 2026.
29 of the 171 rooms are suites (Park Suite 85 m² upward), so suites are not rare by Tokyo standards.
Mount Fuji is visible from some rooms; a view is not guaranteed by status.

4 p.m. no longer guaranteed since resort label
Around 1 April 2026 the hotel started appearing as a "Resort Property" on hyatt.com (still listed in Nov 2026); at Hyatt resorts the Globalist 4 p.m. checkout is subject to availability.
Before the change a Jan 2026 Globalist was offered and used 16:00.
After it, an early-April 2026 guest got a checkout time worked out around their flight instead of 16:00, an April 2026 reviewer was refused the guaranteed slot, and a Sept 2026 guest called 4 p.m. checkout a thing of the past.
Some Fine Hotels + Resorts-type rate plans reportedly still promise 16:00; this was a reader comment, not confirmed by the hotel.
Kids & bed-sharing
Under-13s share free; pool times limited
Children 0–12 may share the parents' bed free, a baby cot is free, and an extra bed is free for under-13s on request, subject to room type (Ikyu listing, Nov 2026).
Pool: ages 3–12 only from 08:00 to 18:00 with a guardian, must be fully toilet trained, no swim nappies; gym and spa from 16 (Ikyu, MileLion April 2026).
A family report found baby toiletries, kids' sleepwear and slippers set out in the room (April 2026).
Twin rooms take four people, but the website may not allow booking four; one Jan 2026 family booked three and asked the hotel to add the fourth.
No club lounge, so there is no lounge age rule to worry about.

Park Hyatt Tokyo is now listed as a Hyatt "Resort Property"
Since spring 2026 hyatt.com lists the reopened hotel as a resort property. At resorts, the Globalist 4 p.m. late checkout is not guaranteed, so ask for it at check-in rather than counting on it.
