アンダーズ東京

Globalist value here is a reliable breakfast at The Tavern on the 51st floor plus a likely move to a Tokyo Tower view king; the lobby-side Andaz Lounge and its evening wine hour are open to every guest, and suites are effectively off the table because the hotel has only eight and reports say Suite Upgrade Awards cannot be applied.

Free at The Tavern: buffet plus à la carte dishes

Every recent Globalist report (2023, Jan 2025, Aug 2025, Oct 2025) had breakfast at The Tavern Grill & Lounge on the 51st floor at no charge.

Format reported in 2024–2025: a Western and Japanese buffet plus made-to-order dishes from a menu; one 2025 report says more than one menu item could be ordered.

There is no separate breakfast lounge; the lobby lounge only sets out light morning items such as muffins and juice.

Hyatt's programme rule covers up to two adults and two children per room (programme-level, not confirmed specifically for this hotel).

Listed service hours vary by source: 06:45–11:00 (last order 10:30) on Ikyu, 07:00–11:00 in a 2024 blog.

Good

Tower View king usual; suites almost never

Globalist reports from Sept 2022, Jan 2025 and Aug 2025 ended in a Tokyo Tower view king; in the Jan 2025 report the desk offered a choice of park, bay or tower view.

The hotel has only 8 suites (2 on each of the 4 room floors), so complimentary suite upgrades are very unlikely.

Several sources (2018 blog, OMAAT review updated 2026, a 2026-era comparison post) state that Suite Upgrade Awards cannot be used here.

A repeat guest who became Globalist in 2021 reported never being moved to a larger room on later stays (post updated March 2025).

Standard checkout is 12:00; the programme's 14:00 Explorist late checkout is on request, but no report for this hotel was found.

Good

16:00 reported, but only in an older (2021) stay

A Globalist upgrade log records 16:00 checkout at an October 2021 stay.

None of the 2024–2026 reports fetched mention checkout times, so current practice is unconfirmed.

A 2018 report warns of queues at the desk around 12:00 when check-outs cluster.

Kids & bed-sharing

Good

Family-friendly kit; bed-sharing age not published

Ikyu lists a free baby cot; Travelist lists free extra/rollaway beds (age bands not stated).

JTB lists children's slippers, yukata and pyjamas, free stroller loan, limited bed guards, and babysitting/childcare on request.

Pool from age 4 with a guardian; fitness centre from 13; locker rooms from 16 with a guardian (Ikyu). A family report notes a separate family changing room for small children.

Most rooms sleep up to three; a family of four may need two rooms (Fun Family Trips).

A family Globalist report had breakfast covered; Hyatt's programme rule is two adults plus two children.
